Go through the red door. All things from writer J.J. Poret.

J.J. writes speculative fiction that explores grief, recovery, and the mundane. His work has appeared in Midnight Chem, Tales from the Crosstimbers, and The Corner Bar.
J.J. Poret is from Louisiana and once lived in a house that was built in 1835. While he has never seen a ghost, he is still patiently waiting. J.J. did his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, where he received his master's degree in engineering. While his education didn't lend itself to a writing career, it does help him create impressive plot spreadsheets. He currently lives in Houston, Texas with his family.
My current project is a supernatural horror novel blending addiction memoir, psychological horror, and spiritual noir, examining how suffering manifests when left unacknowledged—and what it takes to finally let go of your compulsions.
